Carnival Ride at Luneta Park

For the love of exploration, we walk into the busy grounds of Roxas Boulevard, Luneta Park and Intramuros. This happens for 5-days of which attending a seminar in the morning and 5-days of exploring Manila in the afternoon (5 PM-onward). This is a part of the 5-Days Manila Challenge.

Day 1 Trial

ImageThe Viking (similar to Enchanted Kingdom’s Anchors Away and Vikings of Star City), a boat-carnival-ride that swings from left to right (vice versa) with approximate maximum of 40 passengers. I’ve always been a fun of scary rides, it feels good to sometimes scream my lungs out once in a while. Fifty (50) pesos per ride.

What seems funny though is that a lone lady (seems to be brave) sat beside me but when the ride starts, she was already trembling and she wants to get off. She asked me to hold her, she placed her head into my shoulder and just closed her eyes the entire ride. Well, I also screamed (the ride do scares me,too) but I smiled and giggled the entire time because of the lady seating beside me and seeing my other friends screaming and shutting theirs eyes as well.

Day 2 Trial

IMG_6292 It was fun to have 2 other friends willingly go for a ride. We also did try another ride similar to the flying fiesta of Enchanted Kingdom. Thirty (30) pesos per ride.

But I reckon if you wish to try this ride, especially when you ate something. I was really dizzy after being  whirled in my non-moving seat when we only just had sundae (20 pesos) before that ride. I’m glad I didn’t throw up.
