For the love of exploration, we walk into the busy grounds of Roxas Boulevard, Luneta Park and Intramuros. This happens for 5-days of which attending a seminar in the morning and 5-days of exploring Manila in the afternoon (5 PM-onward). This is a part of the 5-Days Manila Challenge.
After the seminar, we tried again walking along Roxas Boulevard and decided to continue walking to reach Intramuros. It was a long walk but with my girls being so energetic and so bubbly, it was certainly one great adventure.
From Roxas Boulevard, we cross the Ped Xing going to Ocean Park. A friend wants to see what’s inside it, so I did tour them around.
I had been to Manila Ocean Park, twice and it keeps on getting better and better every year. If you want to visit , you can enjoy different discounted rates or visit http://metrodeal.com for their 750 pesos promo. See main attractions: https://www.manilaoceanpark.com/main/attractions/page/attraction
Aside for the Manila Ocean Park, beside it is the Hotel H2O. It was known to be a member of the Europe-based World Hotels, that features a aquarium-themed rooms and suites. I once researched on it’s rates and I backed-out on it. I am an explorer and I travel on a budget, my budget determines my itinerary and not the other way around.
I also took my friends to the playground, I visited the first time I went to Ocean Park. It has always been open to the public but it was nothing like what I had remember, the little playground had been totally different and abused. It was messy, not well-maintained, some were broken, yet still lots of kids are playing. I wish that the park management will reconstruct it…
Manila Ocean Park is one of the best places in the metro. I highly recommend this place for every kids, kid-at-heart and the whole family. My personal favorites are the oceanarium, jellies, antartica and the musical fountain show. See it so you’ll know why.
